LONDON: Liverpool slipped up yet again today at Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

Last season the Reds’ title bid was wrecked when they conceded three late goals for a 3-3 draw at Selhurst Park.

This time they led through Rickie Lambert after only two minutes but Palace hit back through Dwight Gayle and then, in last 12 minutes, through Joe Ledley and Australian Mile Jedinak.

This was Liverpool’s third successive league defeat, they are 18 points adrift of Chelsea and will struggle to qualify for Europe at all, let alone return to the Champions League.

Christian Eriksen scored his fourth goal of term to crown a man-of-the-match display and earn Tottenham a 2-1 comeback win at Hull.

Spurs made hard work of winning, considering that Hull played with 10 men for almost all the second half after the expulsion of Gaston Ramirez for a silly kick at Jan Vertonghen.

Hugo Lloris was not his usual secure self in goal and Roberto Soldado wasted openings in attack.
