ERIC PERSSON, AIPS in PRAGUE: The semi-final between Denmark and Sweden was a 50-50 story before the game but when the match started Sweden quickly showed their qualities and confidently won 4–1.

Denmark began better and in the 11th minute, striker Yussuf Poulsen managed to put the ball into the net but it did not count because of a handball.

Eleven minutes later, Danish right back Alexander Scholz pushed Swedish striker Isaac Kiese Thelin and John Guidetti converted the penalty.

Three minutes after that, when the Danes were still confused, Sweden deployed a quick counter-attack, Guidetti took a superb pass from Kiese Thelin on the left wing and set up Simon Tibbling to score.

Sweden played comfortable for the rest of the first half and in the beginning of the second half. But in the 63th minute Denmark scored after sloppy Swedish defending through Uffe Bech.

Six minutes later Danish captain Jannik Vestergaard was denied by Swedish goalkeeper Patrik Carlgren and then it was Sweden who struck again twice instead to reach the final against Portugal.
