2018 WORLD CUP: Four red cards at finals in Russia the fewest in 36 years
MOSCOW: Only four red cards have been shown in the 2018 World Cup finals, the lowest total since 1982 . One direct red each was recorded by both Colombia (Carlos Sanchez) and Switzerland (Michael Lang) and one red each for double-yellows by Russia (Igor Smolnikov) and Germany (Jerome Boateng).
