Atos named as first international sponsor by Lima 2019 for the Pan American and Parapan American Games
Lima, Peru; 13 September 2018: Atos, a global leader in digital transformation, has been appointed by the Lima 2019 Organizing Committee as the official IT (Information Technology) provider of the Lima 2019 Pan American and Parapan American Games. Atos will be responsible for the delivery of seamless, secure and efficient technological solutions, to enhance the experience of each participant in the continental event.
The partnership will see Atos provide digital services as an industry leader in digital mega-event services. Additionally, it will share its experience and expertise as the Timing, Scoring and Results (TSR) provider for Lima 2019. The partner procurement process was carried out under the Government-to-Government (G2G) Agreement with the United Kingdom, to guarantee transparency and equal opportunities for all participants.
Atos systems will be integrated into every aspect of the global Pan American and Parapan American Games experience, from workforce management, cyber-security and volunteer recruitment, to rapid sporting results and commentator information systems.
Atos’ cloud-based platforms will also play a major role in Lima 2019’s knowledge transfer process after the Games, ensuring a valuable skills legacy for the Peruvian sports industry and future hosts.
Atos has a proven track record in supporting major event organising committees, having provided IT solutions to the Olympic Games since 1992 and as a member of the IOC’s Olympic Partner (TOP) programme since 2001.

The President of Lima 2019, Carlos Neuhaus Tudela, highlighted the agreement with the first international sponsor of the Lima 2019 Pan American and Parapan American Games: “Lima 2019 is the biggest multi-sport event in Peru’s history.
