NYON: Liverpool and Manchester United have been drawn against Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain respectively in the second round knockout stage of the UEFA Champions League.

Last year’s beaten finalists Liverpool have been handed a testing trip to Germany to face the Bundesliga giants, opponents familiar to former Dortmund boss Klopp.

United take on Neymar, Mbappe and company at PSG – who qualified ahead of Liverpool in their group.

Premier League champions and tournament favourites City will fancy their chances against Schalke, while Spurs taking on current German league leaders Dortmund could turn out to be one of the mos entertaining ties of the round. Holders Real Madrid face Ajax Amsterdam.
