Inter Campus will return to the UN for the International Day of Persons with Disabilities,
organized by the UN’s Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA).
An Inter delegation will take part in the event called “Sport for all for Development and
Peace”, sharing its experience about the issue of the legitimacy of persons with disabilities in
a perspective of equality and social inclusion as provided by the UN 2030 Agenda for
Sustainable Development.
Inter Campus is a long-term social initiative which has been giving children back their basic
right to play since 1997.
Representing Inter Campus at the UN Headquarters will be Carlo Riva, the Director of the
non-profit association l’abilità based in Milan (Italy). He’s a teaching assistant and subject
expert at Università Bicocca in Milan for Inclusion Pedagogy. In addition to the historic
international commitment, Inter Campus works together with l’abilità in the city of Milan
involving children with intellectual disabilities in football activities designed and implemented
ad hoc.

Through its worldwide social project, Inter will once again be bringing its testimony and
experience in children’s rights to the United Nations.
