KEIR RADNEDGE REPORTS: European federation UEFA will make up its mind about the real shape of the rescheduled Euro 2020 finals on April 5.

The approach of that deadline has sparked all manner of speculation, ranging from a one-country hosting to a severe trim from the 12 original hosts.

It is generally assumed that eastern European hosts such as Hungary, Azerbaijan and Romania will make every effort to welcome players and events and even fans in whatever circumstances.

This means that it is western Europe whose governments’ caution over travel, quarantine and vaccination may be the one who fall by the wayside.

Bilbao, Dublin and Glasgow have all been pinpointed as vulnerable though UEFA has insisted that everything is speculation and no decision will be made until it’s made by the UEFA executive committee.
