PARIS: Paris Saint-Germain suffered a 1-0 defeat in the French league at Nice as they prepared for the Champions League return against Real in Madrid.

PSG were without the suspended Kylian Mbappé and with both Lionel Messi and Neymar below par.

Coach Mauricio Pochettino opted for Keylor Navas in goal, a good hint that Gianluigi Donnarumma will start the Champions League tie in which PSG hold a single-goal lead. 

A late defensive error handed the winning goal to Justin Kluivert.

In Spain Real Madrid beat Real Sociedad 4-1.
