KEIR RADNEDGE REPORTS: Four Russan clubs – CSKA Moscow, Zenit, Dinano Moscow and Sotchi – have appealed at the Court of Arbitration for Sport against the latest exclusion from UEFA’s European club competitions.

The European federation decided earlier this week to bar all Russian teams from its competitions in the 2022-2023 season because of Russia’s military invasion of Ukraine.

CSKA, in a statement, said: “All the four clubs have requested that their request to participate in European competitions be examined urgently.”

In February world federation FIFA had announced in February the exclusion of Russia from the 2022 World Cup’s European qualifying competition.
