Fernando Santos already on his way back to take over as Poland coach
WARSAW: Portuguese coach Fernando Santos is on his way back to international football.
After eight years as boss of Portugal – including the Euro 2016 victory – Santos is poised to take over Poland in place of Czesław Michniewicz who led them to the round of 16 at the World Cup in Qatar.
This will be the 11th major appointment for Santos who has also coached the Greek national team, PAOK Salonika and Benfica.
