NYON: European football federation UEFA has confirming receiving five declarations of interest to host the Women’s Euro in 2029.

A UEFA statement described the interest as “underlining the pan-European growth of women’s football across different regions and the widespread interest in UEFA competitions.”

Germany, Italy, Poland and Portugal have all registered individual interest with a potential joint bid coming from Denmark and Sweden.

A decision will be made in December next year.

The 2025 Women’s Euro will be held across eight host cities in Switzerland from next July 2 to 27. Tickets are now available from CHF 25 on a first come, first served basis via www.womenseuro.com/tickets.
