LONDON: Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed technology giant HP as the Premier League club’s principal partner for the 2013-14 season.
The United States firm has chosen to extend the sponsorship agreement between Tottenham and Autonomy, which has been a club sponsor since 2010 and was acquired by HP in 2011, for a further season.
Software firm Autonomy last season held Tottenham’s Premier League shirt sponsorship rights through its augmented reality platform Aurasma, while Investec displayed its brand during the North London club’s cup games.
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy said: “We are delighted to welcome the HP brand back to the club having previously been a club partner in the 1990s. HP has established itself as one of the world’s leading technology companies and we look forward to working with them once again for the coming season.”
Tottenham finished fifth in the Premier League last season, narrowly missing out on a place in the UEFA Champions League to bitter rival Arsenal.
