ZURICH: With only 22 matches played, all friendlies, since the December edition, the first FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking of 2018 offered were few significant changes.

Germany remain at the summit of a static top 10, while Iceland (20th, up two) are the only team to enter the top 20, with the Netherlands (21st, down one) dropping out.

Croatia (15th, up two) also made some ground, and there are more substantial rises further down the order.

Tunisia (23rd, up four) built on the gains made during their successful FIFA World Cup™ qualifying campaign, while Kuwait (174th, up 15), Sudan (124th, up 12), and El Salvador (90th, up 10) have all registered double-digit jumps.

Best-ever ranking slots were attained by Chinese Taipei (134th, up one), Lebanon (84th, up one), and Palestine (75th, up five).

The next FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking will be published on 15 February 2018.
