ZURICH: The latest round of warm-up matches ahead of the World Cup which starts next week in Russia saw Serbia lose 1-0 at home to Chile and Morocco defeat Slovakia 2-1.
The Serbsa, who face Brazil, Costa Rica and Switzerland in their group, looked vulnerable to every attack by the South American champions who will be absent from the finals.
Guillermo Maripan headed a deserved 89th-winner for Chile.
Morocco, who face Iran, Portugal and Spain in World Cup Group B, extended their unbeaten run to 11 matches despite falling behind to a long-range Jans Gregus effort in the 59th minute.
The Moroccans hit back with two goals in 10 minutes from Ayoub Kaabi and Younes Belhanda.
In a friendly between two other notable World Cup absentees, Italy and Holland drew 1-1 in Turin.
Italy, in their third game under coach Roberto Mancini, wasted a series of first-half chances then went ahead in the 67th minute through Simone Zaza. However Italy had defender Domenico Criscito sent off two minutes later after a second yellow card and Nathan Ake levelled two minutes from time.
