MILAN: Zlatan Ibrahimovic, at 41 years 5 months 15 days became the oldest player in score a goal in Italy’s Serie A in a 3-1 defeat at Udinese.
The veteran Swede saw a penalty saved by Udinese goalkeeper Marco Silvestri but scored after referee Daniele Doveri ordered a retake.
Udinese coach Andrea Sottil was sent off for protesting over the award of the penaltry for handball by Jaka Bijol.
Earlier Roberto Pereyra had put Udinese ahead in the 10th minute. After Ibrahimovic’s penalty Udinese regained the lead through Beto in the fifth minute of first half stoppage time.
Kingsley Ehizbue secured the three points in the 70th minute.
