PARIS: Kylian Mbappé made a goal-scoring return to duty with French champions Paris Saint-Germain while his contract standoff continues.

The France captain started as a substitute in Toulouse but coach Luis Enrique turned to his star at the start of the second half and with the score 0-0. PSG’s No7 came on for Kang-In at the same time as Ousmane Dembélé, who made his debut to replace Fabián Ruiz.

A few minutes after coming on, Mbappé forced a penalty and converted it, deceiving the goalkeeper. The Frenchman celebrated effusively in front of the PSG fans.

However the visitors were made to pay for their inability to find a second. Achraf Hakimi gave away a silly penalty late on which Zakaria Aboukhlal dutifully converted to see PSG drop points for the second time this season.
