KEIR RADNEDGE REPORTS: Harry Kane goes marching on. England’s captain struck his 33rd goal of his debut season in the Bundesliga in Saturday’s 5-1 way win over Union Berlin.
The goal kept Kane eight goals clear if Stuttgart’s Serhou Guirassy in the ESM Golden Shoe ranking for the leading marksman in European league football.
Marksmen from the Big Five (England, France, Germany, Italy and Spain) benefit from a points multiplier of two. Players in leagues between places six and 22 of the UEFA national ranking 2022 receive a 1.5 coefficient.
As in former years the ranking does not include play-offs or cup matches in the official ranking.
