| ANDIDATES ANNOUNCED FOR SEPTEMBER’S IPC GOVERNING BOARD ELECTIONS |

| • A booklet providing information about each candidate has also been published ahead of the elections which will take place in Seoul, Republic of Korea. —- The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) announced on 1 August the names of candidates who will stand for election to the IPC Governing Board on 27 September at the 2025 IPC General Assembly in Seoul, Republic of Korea. The Nominations Panel has declared that there are 30 nominations that meet the formal administrative requirements for consideration for election to the IPC. As part of its ongoing remit, the IPC Nominations Panel has over the last several weeks and in cooperation with an external vetting agency undertaken vetting of the candidates’ backgrounds. All candidates’ integrity and background checks for IPC Governing Board positions have been completed. The IPC’s announcement of candidates and publication of a booklet featuring information about each nominee marks the start of campaigning for the 10 elected positions available within the IPC Governing Board. Under the new IPC Constitution which has been effective since 28 June 2024, the IPC Governing Board will be comprised of one President, two Vice-Presidents, and seven Members-at-Large. They will be joined by the Chairperson and First Vice-Chairperson of the IPC Athletes’ Council and two appointed members.
