MADRID: Karim Benzema has now scored as many goals for Real Madrid as did fellow Frenchman Zinedine Zidane. After an angry half-time tirade from coach Jose Mourinho, Madrid hit back from two goals down to beat Ma;aga 3-2 in the Spanish cup. Benzema’s goal was his 49th in 105 appearances since the striker joined Madrid from Lyon in 2009. Playmaker Zidane scored 49 goals in 227 games for Madrid in five years between 2001 and his retirement from all football in 2006.
