BRATISLAVA: Ladislav Kuna, former Czechoslovak midfielder, has died aged 64. Kuna was born on April 3, 1947 and starred with Spartak Trnava under master-coach Anton Malatinsky. He scored 86 goals in 424 games between 1964 and 1980 then the Austrian club Admira Vienna.

Kuna played for Czechoslovakia at the 1970 World Cup and totalled nine goals in 47 internationals between 1966 and 1974. He was 1969 Footballer of the Year in Czechoslovakia. Later Kuna coached Trnava, Wiener Neustadt and Dunajska Streda. He had been chairman of Trnava since 2006.
