LONDON: A third footballer has been charged as part of an investigation into alleged match-fixing.

Moses Swaibu, 24, a former Conference South footballer from Croydon, south London, is accused of conspiracy to defraud.

He is the fifth person and third player to be charged in connection with the National Crime Agency probe into an alleged illegal betting syndicate. He will appear at Cannock Magistrates’ Court in Staffordshire next Tuesday.
