PARIS: Willy Bernard, former president of French club Angers, has been sentenced to two years in jail for tax fraud.

Bernard, sentenced in absence since he lives now in California, was convited in Le Mans of not declaring €861,000€ in revenue during 2008-2009.

Two years ago Bernard had been handed a suspended two-year prison term plus a €200,000 fine for fraud over tax and social security offences.
