RIO DE JANEIRO: American car manufacturer Chevrolet has agreed a deal with the Brazilian football confederation for the rights to sponsor the Brazil global tour.

The BGT is a number of friendly matches featuring the Brazil national football team and other top national teams from across the world. From 2015 Chevrolet will replace Gillette as the main sponsor of the tournament.

According to reports in the Brazilian media, as a sponsor Chevrolet will be afforded activation opportunities to promote their brand at Brazil friendly matches.
