ROME: Roma have secured potentially one of the most significant transfers of the year in senior administrator Umberto Gandini who left Milan last week after 23 years service.
Gandini, a leading light within the European Cub Association, has also been proposed as a board member to Italo Zanzi.
At Milan Gandini was director of sports organisation and had been executive director for the past year.
He left the Rossoneri in the wake of the club’s effective takeover by a Chinese consortium.
Gandini is also a member of UEFA’s Professional Football Strategy Council and was an ECA vice-president for more than eight years.
