LONDON: Everton are looking for a new manager after sacking Ronald Koeman following the devastating 5-2 home defeat by Arsenal in the Premier Leahgue on Sunday.

The Dutchman has been removed of his position after 16 months, paying the price for dropping into the relegation places after Super Sunday’s 5-2 defeat to Arsenal with eight points from their first nine games.

Expectations were raised going in the season after a £150m of summer spending, although they did lose leading goalscorer to Romelu Lukaku and have faced five of last season’s top six already.

Contenders for the job include Burnley’s Sean Dyche and former Everton manager David Moyes.
