RIYADH: The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) and the Local Organizing Committee for the 6th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games – Riyadh 2026 (AIMAG) have today announced new dates for the upcoming competition.

Organizers have confirmed that the 6th edition of the regional competition will take place from March 28 to April 8, 2027, following a review of organization and logistical arrangements in coordination with all National Olympic Committees, stakeholders and partners for the OCA-sanctioned event.

The new dates for the Riyadh games ensure the alignment of schedules and operational arrangements and ensure the broadest possible participation from all qualifying National Olympic Committees and members from the Olympic Council of Asia.

With this, the Olympic Council of Asia and the Local Organizing Committee in alignment with the relevant authorities of the Kingdom have confirmed all preparations are going as planned as Saudi Arabia prepares to host over 4500 athletes from over 45 NOCs on the confirmed dates of competition.

The 6th AIMAG will be the first multi-sport Olympic Council of Asia event held in the Kingdom. Riyadh 2026 builds on the momentum and supports the goals of Saudi Vision 2030: driving sports participation, developing talent, inspiring the community and establishing the Kingdom as a global destination for major sporting events.
