LONDON: The British sports media is mourning yet another of its most respected members. Kevin Moseley, one of Fleet Street’s outstanding sports news reporters, has died after a long illness, aged 69.

This follows the death last week of former Guardian columnist Frank Keating and that of former Sun chief soccer writer Brian Woolnough last September. Moseley was best-known for his time with the Daily Express and Daily Mirror where  – in the closing era of the ‘Fleet Street era’ – he was responsible for one of football’s first, and best, diary columns.
