ZURICH/RIO DE JANEIRO: Jerome Valcke, secretary-general of world football federation FIFA, has published the image of an official ticket for the World Cup finals in Brazil in June and July.

Earlier this week FIFA indicated the success of the formal sales of tickets with 126,837 being requested by fans in Brazil and around the world. Brazilians led the tally with 80,496 (63.4pc) followed by 46,341 abroad.

The top 10 nationalities, by tickets successfully allocated, were: Brazil, United States, Colombia, Argentina, Germany, Mexico, France, England, Chile and Australia.
