MUNICH: Bayern Munich have signed a media partnership with MSN for the broadcasting and publication of club content in the United States.
Bayern legend Franz Beckenbauer was present at a press conference in New York as the new partnership with the web portal was unveiled.
The agreement will see MSN share Bayern-related news, stories and features in a variety of media forms.
Additionally, Beckenbauer will write a regular column exclusively on fcbayernmunich.com. Beckenbauer said: “The quality and interest in soccer here is at the highest level it has ever been.
“I’m excited to provide my perspective on the most talked-about topics on the sport and club level for FC Bayern in the US.”
FC Bayern are the reigning champions of the Bundesliga, the top professional soccer division in Germany.
From next season, the Bundesliga will be broadcast by Fox Sports in the US after a five-year deal was struck back in 2013.
