NYON: European federation UEFA is to put Paris Saint-Germain’s financial affairs under the microscope again.

PSG came under the scrutiny of UEFA’s financial fair play commission since the arrivals of Neymar and Kylian Mbappé for more than €400m in the summer of 2017 and have been told they will undergo “further examination.”

UEFA is taking action despite a number of player sales by the French champions in an attempt to balance the transfer and wages books.

Financial fair play forbids clubs competing in European competitions to spend more money than they generate through their own business activity.

PSG are currently leading the French league after a 3-1 weekend victory over Rennes lifted coach Thomas Tuchel’s team five points clear at the top.
