CARDIFF/PARIS: Wales won rugby union’s Six Nations without playing – a week after their last match.

That game resulted in a Welsh defeat by France who could have denied them the title on Friday – but only if they secured a bonus point victory and a winning margin of 21 points or more against Scotland in Paris.

In the end France lost dramatically to the Scots, leaving Wales coach Wayne Pivac and his team in triumph for a second successive season.
