NYON: European football federation UEFA has ruled that the forthcoming Euro 2024 qualifiers involving Israel should be played in Hungary during the ongoing troubles in the Middle East.

A UEFA statement said:

Following the decision of the UEFA Executive Committee that no UEFA competition matches shall be played in Israel until further notice due to the current security situation, UEFA has today confirmed the venues of the upcoming UEFA European Qualifiers matches involving Israel.

EQ Israel vs Switzerland on 15 November, to be played at Puskás Akadémia Pancho Aréna in Felcsút, Hungary

EQ Israel vs Romania on 18 November, to be played at Puskás Akadémia Pancho Aréna in Felcsút, Hungary

The matches will be played with spectators.
